Responsibilities
- Work with a licensed engineer on mechanical systems design for new construction and renovations.
- Attend design team meetings and observe coordination among multi-disciplinary team members.
- Assist in the development of construction documents primarily using Revit.
- Visit active construction sites as applicable.
- Develop HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection designs from concept through completion.
- Participate in the Emerging Professional Experience Program, which includes mentorship and classes.
- Engage in diverse learning experiences within the AEC industry.
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in an ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering program.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa or residency sponsorship.
- Interest in architectural building design.
- Experience or interest in BIM workflow, specifically Autodesk Revit MEP.
- At least a third-year student in an accredited engineering program.
