Responsibilities
- Represent Operations in design teams and fulfill design transfer responsibilities for product development and market release.
- Lead or assist in sustaining engineering initiatives to improve quality, compliance, safety, efficiency, reliability, and cost.
- Provide technical support for supplier issues.
- Collaborate with R&D on development and assume ownership of material specifications and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure effective training of Manufacturing and Quality Control personnel for new processes.
- Participate in investigations and resolutions of findings from audits and customer complaints.
- Maintain compliance with quality systems and safety standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Bio-medical, or Biomechanical Engineering.
- Preferred experience in process improvement and sustaining engineering in a regulated environment.
- Strong mathematical and statistical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle tight deadlines.
