Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of engineering leaders and principal engineers.
- Drive the engineering team to deliver project scope through site audits, design, validation, ordering, commissioning, and testing.
- Ensure adherence to project schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Act as a primary point of escalation for project-related issues.
- Identify new business opportunities and direct sustaining engineering projects.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets and business plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex challenges, recommending procedural changes as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Degree in Engineering.
- 10 years of experience in leading Project Management or Project Engineering teams.
- Advanced understanding of management approaches for work direction, motivation, and performance management.
- Proven experience in managing large teams and project execution including design, validation, commissioning, and testing.
- Advanced understanding of mechanical and controls systems and intermediate understanding of software systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
- Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement innovative solutions.
