Responsibilities
- Complete the commissioning of complex systems that integrate hardware and software.
- Design schematics and control panels.
- Provide recommendations for productivity improvement, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction enhancement.
- Conduct technical interchange and knowledge transfer regarding processes and product applications.
- Perform standard work for the professional field.
- Identify and resolve complex problems using problem-solving skills.
- Interact directly with end customers on-site.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or an advanced degree.
- 5-8 years of successful experience in a related field.
- Broad knowledge of field specialization through completion of moderately complex assignments.
- Understanding of the organization’s business practices and issues.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Proficient in Rockwell or Siemens PLCs.
- Knowledge of AC drives, both open & closed loop, and experience in Ethernet IP network design and machine safety is a plus.
