Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic parts and integrated circuitry for hardware systems.
- Analyze equipment and test plan requirements for verification and conduct experimental tests.
- Collaborate with lead engineers to select components based on specifications, cost, and reliability.
- Review capabilities of original design manufacturers and vendors to support product development.
- Ensure manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability of designs.
- Integrate designs with other product functions including mechanical and software components.
- Work closely with cross-functional HW & SW Engineering teams on network compute and storage connectivity.
Job Requirements
- BSEE with 3-5 years of experience in NICs and Fiber Optic Communication.
- Solid understanding of NIC technologies, high-speed pluggable transceiver form-factors, and their mechanical design.
- Proficiency with electrical simulation tools.
- Highly self-motivated with a strong multi-disciplinary background.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of industry players in cables and optics field (desirable).
- Familiarity with Broadcom SDK (desirable).
