Responsibilities
- Designs and analyzes electro-mechanical components and systems.
- Develops drawings and specifications for new and modified designs.
- Conducts studies and testing on new and modified designs.
- Provides engineering design, maintenance support, and training for new products and equipment.
- Designs and conducts experiments, collects data, and interprets results.
- Plans, coordinates, and executes various engineering activities.
- Determines maintenance schedules and procedures for current and new equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum 2-10 years of experience in manufacturing and design of engineered products.
- Experience with rotating equipment and machine designs (motors, pumps, generators).
- Proficiency in GD&T, CAD systems, CAE systems, and FEA methods.
- Ability to create models, present design reviews, and perform trade studies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform analysis in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a sole US citizen and able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
