Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming inspections and assembly process inspections of train components.
- Utilize quality forms to track and address quality issues.
- Collaborate with quality engineers to analyze inspection data for improvements.
- Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
- Provide feedback on quality control procedures and inspection methods.
- Audit quality control procedures and inspection tools for accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow safety procedures.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or higher.
- Proficient in using measuring instruments like tape measures and calipers.
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related discipline and experience in quality inspection/testing.
