Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems of intermediate complexity in compliance with code requirements.
- Manage multiple tasks and direct the work of others, working independently or under supervision.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure a coordinated design.
- Develop construction drawing packages and specifications with minimal oversight.
- Support construction activities, including RFI responses and progress reports.
- Manage project mechanical design budgets.
- Provide mentorship to less experienced engineers and lead systems design programming.
Job Requirements
- ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (mechanical focus).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Professional Engineer registration in good standing.
- Experience in HVAC, mechanical utility, and piping systems design.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of GMP manufacturing environments and sustainable design principles.
- Familiarity with industry standards and building codes.
