Responsibilities
- Designs electrical systems of intermediate complexity per code requirements.
- Collaborates with architects, engineers, and designers for coordinated design.
- Coordinates with construction trade partners, vendors, and manufacturers.
- Develops narratives, reports, and construction drawing packages.
- Supports construction activities, including RFI responses and progress reporting.
- Manages project electrical design budget on small to medium projects.
- Provides mentorship to less experienced Electrical Engineers and/or Designers.
Job Requirements
- ABET-accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of relevant experience in an AEC firm.
- Professional Engineer registration in good standing.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (preferred).
- Relevant design firm experience (preferred).
