Responsibilities
- Assume Manufacturing Engineering responsibilities under guidance for assigned projects.
- Coordinate with representatives of Design Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing to complete projects.
- Support process development and implementation of manufacturing work instructions and improvements.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Production Supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
- Provide Operations Support for the New Product Introduction Process.
- Assist in the development of lean manufacturing processes for new products.
- Perform quantitative analysis for capacity planning and cost comparison.
Job Requirements
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or Physics; Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills in a team environment.
- Project-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to commit to a one quarter or semester internship, 40 hours per week.
