Responsibilities
- Utilize CAD expertise to improve site drawings
- Assist with updating and organizing facility drawings and maps
- Help review current layouts and documentation for accuracy
- Support efforts to improve clarity of emergencies and safety materials
- Participate in basic on-site walkthroughs to gather or verify information
- Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure updates reflect current operations and safety expectations
- Engage in social and networking opportunities and weekly tech talks
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred)
- Available for 10 weeks during Summer 2026
- Interest in working for Corning, Inc after graduation
- Willingness to work at the posted job location
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or equivalent software
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
