Responsibilities
- System and part level design for an autonomous unloader robot.
- Assemble industrial electro-mechanical systems, including robot arms and actuators.
- Prototype mechanical solutions to dynamic problems and fabricate parts as needed.
- Create system tests for verification of design and manufacturing.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s engineering degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or related field.
- CAD experience with complex parts and assemblies (SOLIDWORKS preferred).
- Experience in designing and fabricating multi-disciplinary projects outside of class.
- Machine shop experience (mill, lathe, laser cutter, shop tools).
- Ability to work at Contoro’s office location in Austin, TX.
