Responsibilities
- Testing cathodic protection systems.
- Troubleshooting cathodic protection faults.
- Inspecting coatings and steel structures for atmospheric corrosion.
- Installing electrical components and equipment.
- Calculating formulas to establish testing criteria.
- Locating underground facilities using instrumentation.
- Identifying hazards and construction activities near gas transmission mains.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and relevant technical experience or Technical Certification, or an Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology.
- Understanding of DC electricity and basic understanding of AC electricity.
- Ability to read M&S plates and pipe type feeder prints.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work extended hours and in adverse conditions.
- Must complete all required Operator Qualified tasks for Jr. Electrical Technician within 3 months.
