Responsibilities
- Responsible for all quality improvement issues related to suppliers.
- Refines procedures and creates/programs databases to track performance.
- Represents Supply Chain Management in audits of the supplier management system.
- Assesses potential new suppliers.
- Works with suppliers to improve the extended supply chain.
- Manages Supplier Programs including Corrective Action and Audits.
- Maintains SCM Intranet Webpages and publishes supplier information.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 1 - 3 years related experience in a Supplier Quality Engineering role.
- Professional Certification in SPC, Six Sigma, or quality management concepts desired.
- Proficiency in MS Office Programs, VBA code, and SharePoint.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
