Responsibilities
- Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance test yields and production throughput.
- Identify and analyze component test failure trends and implement corrective actions.
- Study existing test equipment performance and establish solutions to reduce downtime.
- Analyze test approaches for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Select and order capital test equipment based on cost analysis.
- Provide technical support for test processes and assist floor test technicians.
- Interface with design engineering to coordinate necessary design changes.
Job Requirements
- Degree in STEM fields with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree.
- 2+ years of experience as a manufacturing electrical engineer.
- Understanding of basic statistics and Six Sigma control methods.
- Knowledge of Lean electronics and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to facilitate difficult conversations and communicate effectively across all levels.
