Responsibilities
- Evaluate and specify proper MCUs and circuitry for module control and communication.
- Design and maintain firmware architecture and module trunk code.
- Collaborate to develop solutions for time-critical communications and hardware controls.
- Improve firmware development processes and code management systems.
- Design and improve firmware configuration mechanisms and regression tests.
- Support marketing, sales, and FAE in resolving production and customer issues.
- Manage the firmware development life cycle and ensure great business results.
Job Requirements
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field.
- Proficient communication skills within an organization and with industry.
- Experience in software design and significant coding practice.
- Familiarity with ARM Cortex family MCUs and DSP processors.
- Experience with I2C and SPI protocols.
- Proficient in C/C++ and assembly.
- Experience in optical transceiver design is a plus.
