Responsibilities
- Cross-train to learn hands-on skills related to industrial/engineering technologies.
- Complete and analyze time and motion studies.
- Document and report/suggest changes for process improvements.
- Work with leadership on sustaining processes.
- Create, review, and update existing process flow layouts.
- Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities related to quality and safety.
- Present a report on an improvement project at the end of the internship.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a similar field.
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and knowledge of Lean tools preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must meet CMC attendance standards and be able to work flexible hours.
- Previous internship experience preferred.
