Responsibilities
- Provide new product and ongoing engineering support for specific products.
- Collaborate with design, process, test, and reliability engineering teams.
- Review and influence design and architecture decisions.
- Support technical needs during new product introductions (NPI).
- Manage change activities for sustaining products and meet quality metrics.
- Drive value engineering activities for cost margin improvements.
- Ensure supply chain continuity and resiliency support.
Job Requirements
- BS degree and 15+ years of experience as a product or design engineer.
- Strong understanding of electronic product design and architecture.
- Knowledge of PCB design and relevant software (e.g., Allegro).
- Familiarity with PCBA manufacturing and NPI processes.
- Ability to develop new processes and design rules for components.
- Good understanding of hardware interfaces like PCIE and Ethernet.
- Experience in design lab experimentation and technical lifecycle management.
