Responsibilities
- Develop and qualify system power to meet new product requirements.
- Create and execute test plans for power designs, documenting procedures and specifications.
- Resolve power-related issues for assigned projects.
- Engage with power supply vendors to meet quality requirements.
- Perform design reviews of schematics, BOMs, and layouts.
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause analysis for power-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in power engineering.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical/computer engineering or power electronics.
- 6+ years (Bachelor's), 4+ years (Master's), or 1+ year (PhD) experience in power design or power electronics.
- Proficiency with power design topologies and relevant software tools.
- Knowledge of analog design and power supply technologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory and quality assurance requirements.
- Experience with testing equipment and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturing.
