Responsibilities

  • Conduct reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) analysis, including FMEA, FTA, and RCA.
  • Collaborate with design and systems engineering teams to influence design decisions for reliability.
  • Develop and maintain reliability databases and track system performance.
  • Create test plans, procedures, and validation methods for components and systems.
  • Lead investigations of reliability-related issues and provide corrective action plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in reliability engineering practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of reliability and quality.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering).
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in reliability engineering, preferably in space or aerospace.
  • Expertise in reliability analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, FTA).
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., ReliaSoft, MATLAB, Minitab).
  • Strong understanding of space system design and environmental testing.
  • Experience with relevant industry standards (e.g., NASA, ESA, MIL-STD, ISO).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
