Engineer, Manufacturing Process 1

The Engineer, Manufacturing Process is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and optimizing manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals for Celestica and its customers.

• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes for customer products.
• Develop application software and tooling for complex machines and mechanical processes.
• Utilize Design of Experiments and statistical methods to optimize machine and process capabilities.
• Solve technical problems affecting product manufacture and efficiency.
• Provide feedback to product designers regarding manufacturability of designs.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure maximum resource utilization and throughput.
• Execute process improvements under supervision.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 to 3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in statistical methods and Design of Experiments.
• Ability to solve technical product and process issues.
• Strong communication skills for feedback and collaboration.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for work.
