Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes for customer products.
- Develop application software and tooling for complex machines and mechanical processes.
- Execute and optimize machine capabilities using Design of Experiments and statistical methods.
- Solve technical product, process, and component problems affecting manufacturing efficiency.
- Provide feedback to product designers on the manufacturability of designs.
- Integrate equipment, people, material flow, and information systems for maximum resource utilization.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing sector.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1 to 3 years of related experience in similar job roles.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design principles.
- Familiarity with Design of Experiments and statistical methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills related to manufacturing and product processes.
- Ability to work in a normal office environment with extended periods of sitting.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
