Responsibilities
- Perform detailed electrical power systems design for water and wastewater treatment facilities with minimum supervision.
- Conduct load calculations, detailed conduit routing, motor control center and switchgear design, and specification generation.
- Collaborate with a Senior Level Electrical Engineer on design tasks.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 820, and NESC standards.
- Engage in field investigative and start-up experiences.
- Generate specifications for electrical components.
- Interact positively with clients and stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 6 to 12 years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Professional Engineer registration required.
- Familiarity with power system applications and calculations.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and a highly motivated attitude.
