Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams on Capex Projects through scope, estimations, and conceptual design.
- Provide mechanical engineering support for systems design and engineering reviews.
- Review and approve work of engineering consultants including drawings and specifications.
- Prepare design drawings, specifications, and operating instructions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical systems and recommending solutions.
- Interact with plant teams and project managers to achieve project goals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience.
- 8+ years of project engineering experience in an industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical engineering skills; cross-training in electrical/civil is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and engineering codes.
- Proficient in project scheduling and Microsoft Office software.
- Excellent communication and personnel skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and travel as needed.
