Quality Engineer

The role is for a Quality Engineer at Carbon, responsible for ensuring the quality of hardware and accessories products. The position is based in Redwood City, CA and requires onsite presence during the work week.

• Develop and maintain quality control plans for parts and products.
• Develop Quality Control plans and perform tests for mechanical, electrical, and optical subassemblies.
• Address quality issues through containment, root cause investigations, and collaboration for corrective actions.
• Collaborate with R&D on new development projects to ensure quality requirements are included in product specifications.

• BS or MS in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced international environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Quality System standards such as ISO 9001.
• Knowledge of QC testing equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
• Experience with mechanical, optical, and electrical metrology tools.
