Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain PLC, CNC, and HMI software systems.
- Commission and debug automation and machine systems.
- Provide electrical and controls concepts for the design of new equipment and systems.
- Create and maintain control drawings and BOMs.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to source parts.
- Offer electrical and controls engineering expertise for sales projects and support the sales team.
- Develop training procedures and documentation for projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- 1+ years of experience in the industrial automation industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical design practices and machine/motion control.
- Experience designing electrical cabinets and layouts, including circuit design.
- Familiarity with electrical safety guidelines and standards (ISO 13849-1, IEC 62061).
- Proficiency in PLC programming languages (IEC61131) and Siemens Step 7 / TIA Portal preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with teams, clients, and vendors.
