Responsibilities
- Key member of a "Startup/Stay-Up Squad" dedicated to achieving high early life plant reliability and safety.
- Identify and develop solutions for defects and vulnerabilities in the design of new plants.
- Lead the creation of MOCs to document any plant modifications or upgrades.
- Work directly with 3rd-party engineering companies for engineering deliverables.
- Ensure readiness of operations and maintenance teams for new facilities ahead of start-up.
- Provide engineering input into operating, maintenance, commissioning, and start-up procedures.
- Act as a resource for new operators and technicians in the design and operation of RNG plants.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- More than 8 years of experience in natural gas processing, refining, or petrochemicals.
- Proven track record in practical application of engineering standards for operating facilities.
- Experience with designing & executing minor mechanical modifications.
- Technical understanding of engineering, maintenance, and operation of gas processing equipment.
- Proficient in working with PFDs and P&IDs.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 25%.
