Responsibilities
- Design and develop electro-acoustic and mechanical concepts for automotive audio systems.
- Collaborate with the research department to create demo vehicles for audio system development.
- Utilize MCAD tools to create solid models and design guidelines for production.
- Manage work with external engineering service suppliers and part suppliers.
- Work closely with the internal industrial design team to visualize Bose systems in production vehicles.
- Analyze complex technical problems and propose comprehensive design solutions.
- Engage with OEM customers and participate in supplier meetings.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Proficient in MCAD tools (e.g., Siemens NX, SolidWorks).
- Knowledge of plastic injection molding and metal forming design rules.
- Familiarity with FEA tools and basic electronic hardware design.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
