Responsibilities
- Stand up and scale a new machine shop with advanced CNC capability (5-axis).
- Build and evolve Boom's R&D manufacturing and prototyping area.
- Design tooling and fixtures for fabrication, machining, and assembly.
- Review and approve engineering models and drawings for manufacturability.
- Collaborate with design engineers to guide design-for-manufacturing.
- Coordinate materials sourcing with the supply chain team.
- Work alongside technicians and engineers to bring tools and parts to life.
Job Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing engineering or a closely related role.
- Deep understanding of NC machining.
- Proficient in CAD and experienced with ASME Y14.5 GD&T.
- Strong grasp of production quality systems and documentation.
- Comfortable in both design reviews and on the shop floor.
- Clear communicator across technical and operational teams.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
