Responsibilities
- Interface with production operations, inspection, shipping/receiving, and engineering teams to develop quality processes.
- Maintain quality processes to control and disposition nonconforming materials.
- Lead containment actions for non-conforming products and coordinate with Build Reliability Engineers.
- Identify opportunities for risk reduction and improve manufacturability.
- Track yield, test/inspection escapes, and incorporate lessons learned into new product introductions.
- Collaborate with integrated product teams to address non-conformances.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 quality standards and perform statistical analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field with 4+ years of experience or 8+ years of direct work experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical and avionics product manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read drawings and provide technical input to procedures.
- Understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
- Intermediate knowledge of AS9100 quality standards.
- Experience with statistical analysis methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
