Responsibilities
- Coordinate with multi-discipline groups to develop and understand requirements and designs.
- Perform trade studies to optimize structure and meet program requirements.
- Conduct detailed structural and thermal analysis using calculations and analysis tools.
- Document structural analyses to show compliance with requirements.
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineering for PCB design and layout.
- Validate designs through various review and testing methods.
- Support process improvements for efficient engineering task performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related fields.
- Experience or coursework in CAD tools and thermal/structural analysis.
- Entry-level candidates require a Bachelor’s degree; associate level requires 2+ years of experience.
- Preferred experience in aerospace or space electronics.
- Skills in ANSYS, Creo CAD, SolidWorks, and Finite Element Analysis.
- Excellent communication skills across disciplines.
- Ability to analyze data and develop conclusions.
