Responsibilities
- Support and partner with SLS Propulsion and Core Stage IPTs throughout the program lifecycle.
- Establish proactive technical oversight and risk management.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless technical integration.
- Champion root cause and corrective action processes for technical issues.
- Prevent and manage technical risks and issues.
- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Mentor and coach engineering managers and technical leads in the propulsion domain.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of technical leadership experience.
- 3+ years of experience in the aerospace industry.
- 10+ years of experience in propulsion systems design and development.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience managing multiple technical projects.
- Excellent communication skills with diverse audiences.
