Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems, including equipment racks, power panels, cable routing, and antenna configurations.
- Create and maintain detailed designs for cable and wire harness assemblies.
- Collaborate with customers and suppliers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Document processes, specifications, and procedures supporting the design and manufacturing of electrical commodities.
- Review supplier technical data for system integration and compliance.
- Provide in-service technical support and troubleshooting to airlines and modification sites.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of engineering experience.
- Ability to travel 10% of the time.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of computer-aided design tools and systems.
- Understanding of verification, validation, certification, and qualification processes.
- Familiarity with Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) considerations.
