Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies.
- Participate on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
- Develop, identify, and implement conceptual designs while maintaining program architecture for build.
- Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
- Provide producibility information for inclusion in project plans and document best practices.
- Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible definitions and resolve significant technical problems.
- Coordinate and implement new engineering principles, theories, and advanced technologies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Experience establishing manufacturing build plans.
- Experience in a production-focused engineering role.
- Experience with tooling and/or manufacturing operations processes.
- Preferred experience with NASA, commercial space, or related DOD programs.
- Experience in a lead role as a manufacturing technology analyst or planner.
- Ability to obtain access to a NASA facility.
