Responsibilities
- Develop and document mechanical, electronic, and electrical system requirements.
- Define hardware and software requirements and specifications.
- Test and validate system designs to meet operational and functional requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration compliance.
- Solve problems related to fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.
- Research technology advances for potential application to business needs.
- Engage with airline customers to understand their use of cabin and network systems solutions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent.
- Experience in an electrical design engineering environment.
- 1+ years of related work experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience with systems hardware and software design.
- Experience in computer networking, troubleshooting/debugging, and digital communication.
- Demonstrated project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel 25% of the time domestically and internationally.
