Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and test primary and secondary structures, including composites and metallic parts.
- Manage the full lifecycle of hardware from requirements definition through to integration onto the launch vehicle.
- Conduct research, develop concepts, and perform trade studies.
- Create 3D models, detail drawings, and interface control documents.
- Provide manufacturing support and technical guidance for hardware integration.
- Develop test plans and documentation for flight hardware.
- Participate in subsystem test planning, execution, and data analysis.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in engineering.
- 6+ years of experience with automotive, aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures.
- Proficiency in mechanical design and integration using 3D CAD software.
- Familiarity with GD&T analysis (ASME Y14.5).
- Ability to build positive relationships and contribute to an inclusive culture.
- Knowledge of structural mechanics and design considerations in cryogenic environments.
- Experience with full product lifecycle from design to production.
