Responsibilities
- Full ownership of metallic and composite structural component design.
- Provide technical mentorship and support build activities.
- Liaison Engineering support for non-conformances and process improvements.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers.
- Supervise fabrication and assembly services, manage vendor performance.
- Plan and conduct test objectives, data review, and reporting.
- Create and modify drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in engineering.
- 8+ years of experience with vehicle structures.
- Experience with load path distribution and structural element design.
- Strong mechanical design skills using 3D CAD software.
- Familiarity with GD&T analysis and ASME standards.
- U.S. citizenship or lawful residency required.
- Preferred experience with Creo, FEA analysis codes, and aerospace hardware.
