Responsibilities
- Lead engineering scope including planning, design, structural analysis, and engineering release.
- Own the entire design cycle of structural components, from conceptual design to qualification.
- Develop, release, and maintain CAD and drawing engineering definition packages.
- Support procurement activities to align with vehicle build schedules.
- Participate in subsystem level testing and data analysis.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams across various disciplines.
- Perform emergent analysis for non-conformances.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in mechanical, structural, or relevant engineering field.
- 3-5+ years of professional engineering experience.
- Strong fundamentals in mechanics of materials and structural analysis.
- Experience with large primary or secondary structures and material selection.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software and product data management tools.
- Hands-on experience with hardware in production or service environments.
- Ability to travel 0%-20% to support manufacturing activities.
