Responsibilities
- Support the stage integration engineering team for the New Glenn vehicle.
- Ensure seamless component design, manufacturing, assembly, and integration of rocket stages.
- Apply technical expertise and leadership skills to impact safe human spaceflight.
- Craft engineering drawings with GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
- Utilize 3D CAD programs (preferably Creo) for design tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain positive and professional relationships.
- Take ownership of work and operate under minimal direction.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or equivalent.
- 6+ years of experience in the design of aerospace structures, fluid systems, or mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD programs and engineering drawings.
- Experience with aerospace hardware design ownership and thermally sized aerospace hardware.
- Familiarity with designing systems using Hydrogen, Oxygen, and Methane.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical assemblies or pressurized components/systems.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
