Responsibilities
- Translate engineering intent and drawings into functional hardware.
- Identify tools and equipment required for manufacturing flight hardware.
- Provide shipside/lineside support on the manufacturing floor.
- Manage non-conformance reports (NCR) generation and closure.
- Support introduction of new products by crafting manufacturing plan artifacts.
- Develop manufacturing bill of materials and work instructions.
- Collaborate with teams across different skills and geographic locations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in an engineering capacity, including internships.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing.
- Prior internship experience in aircraft, spacecraft, or automotive manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Creo or CATIA V5).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and software skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with building flight hardware (preferred).
