Responsibilities
- Design, analysis, development, and testing of mechanisms hardware.
- Create 3D models, detail part drawings, assemblies, and interface control documents.
- Provide manufacturing and production support for hardware.
- Offer technical guidance for integration.
- Support configuration development and trade studies.
- Create test plans, specifications, and documentation for flight hardware.
- Participate in subsystem test planning, execution, and data analysis.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering.
- 7+ years of experience with mechanisms and/or structures in aerospace.
- Strong mechanical design skills using 3D CAD software.
- Familiarity with DC motors and mechanical component selection.
- Understanding of GD&T analysis (ASME Y14.5).
- Experience with full product lifecycle from design to production.
- Ability to apply structural mechanics principles using hand calculations and FEA.
