Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems, processes, and procedures in compliance with AS9100, ISO9000, and other standards.
- Conduct quality audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support manufacturing operations with quality expertise.
- Analyze quality data and trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and mentor team members on quality practices.
- Participate in new product development projects to ensure quality integration.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a B.S. in Engineering/Science.
- 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineer role in a production environment.
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 QM Systems.
- Experience in Aerospace, space launch, military/commercial aviation preferred.
- Knowledge of quality tools such as Lean principles, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis.
- Quality Management System audit experience.
- Six Sigma Green, Black Belt, or comparable certification preferred.
