Responsibilities
- Develop concepts for spacecraft electrical power subsystem (EPS) designs and architectures.
- Drive the development of conceptual EPS architecture and designs for future spacecraft.
- Perform EPS sizing and Energy Balance Analysis (EBA), voltage drop, and bus stability analyses.
- Develop power budgets and understand EPS components such as batteries and solar arrays.
- Collaborate with teams to achieve program goals while managing risks.
- Apply technical expertise and leadership skills to support critical missions.
- Ensure designs meet cost and manufacturing standards.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a B.S. in electrical engineering or related field.
- At least 15 years of experience in advanced spacecraft EPS subsystem design.
- Expertise in spacecraft EPS architectures and components.
- Experience with EPS analysis and developing power budgets.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in cohesive teams.
- Experience in mission and safety-critical environments.
- Current Top Secret security clearance eligibility is desired.
