Mission Management Director - New Glenn

The Mission Management Director for New Glenn at Blue Origin is responsible for leading the execution of external customer contracts and overseeing the development and operations of the New Glenn launch vehicle. The role requires technical expertise and leadership to ensure the successful integration of payload requirements and manage complex aerospace projects.

• Lead internal and external technical projects from proposal through completion.
• Work closely with launch operations and systems groups for successful payload integration.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for mission integration and launch contracts.
• Manage regulatory requirements including FAA/ITAR/Range.
• Support business development interactions leading to mission integration and launch contracts.
• Lead payload-to-launch vehicle integration meetings and mission readiness reviews.
• Develop resource-loaded mission Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and coordinate progress with customers.

• B.S. in an Engineering field.
• 10+ years managing complex aerospace projects.
• 5+ years of industry experience in launch system or satellite operations.
• Ability to travel within the U.S. and abroad.
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
• Experience in the development of launch vehicles.
• Top Secret clearance with current SSBI & SCI Eligibility preferred.
