Responsibilities

  • Work closely with technicians and flight hardware to progress shop floor production activities safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions according to design engineering requirements.
  • Identify, develop, and deploy new manufacturing methods and tooling to improve quality and reduce costs.
  • Support non-conformance repair and rework activities.
  • Perform in-build redlines and recommend engineering changes for design producibility.
  • Conduct root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) studies to enhance the feedback loop between design, build, and test.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering (or relevant fields).
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering role (0-3 years).
  • Strong written, personal, technical, and software skills (CAD, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate clearly at all organizational levels.
  • Willingness to support various work shifts and physically engage in production activities.
  • Experience with aircraft, spacecraft, or similar industries is preferred.
  • Master’s Degree or proficiency in specific software tools is a plus.
