Responsibilities
- Work closely with technicians and flight hardware to progress shop floor production activities safely and efficiently.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions according to design engineering requirements.
- Identify, develop, and deploy new manufacturing methods and tooling to improve quality and reduce costs.
- Support non-conformance repair and rework activities.
- Perform in-build redlines and recommend engineering changes for design producibility.
- Conduct root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) studies to enhance the feedback loop between design, build, and test.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering (or relevant fields).
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering role (0-3 years).
- Strong written, personal, technical, and software skills (CAD, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to communicate clearly at all organizational levels.
- Willingness to support various work shifts and physically engage in production activities.
- Experience with aircraft, spacecraft, or similar industries is preferred.
- Master’s Degree or proficiency in specific software tools is a plus.
