Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the test and operation of the New Glenn orbital launch vehicle.
  • Develop operational requirements and advocate for design-for-operations.
  • Author detailed procedures and develop test equipment for integrated flight systems testing.
  • Manage a team of technicians and engineers to ensure safety and quality.
  • Develop ground software requirements and write sequencer code.
  • Perform data reviews and incorporate process improvements post-flight.
  • Earn certification as a launch controller and operate assigned systems on launch day.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a B.S. Degree in Engineering, Science, or Math.
  • Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated technical expertise in cryogenic, propellant handling, or engine systems.
  • Strong operations planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to support occasional off shift work schedules.
  • Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing.
  • Effective technical communication capabilities.
  • Experience leading test teams as a Test Conductor or engineering lead.
