Responsibilities
- Contribute to the test and operation of the New Glenn orbital launch vehicle.
- Develop operational requirements and advocate for design-for-operations.
- Author detailed procedures and develop test equipment for integrated flight systems testing.
- Manage a team of technicians and engineers to ensure safety and quality.
- Develop ground software requirements and write sequencer code.
- Perform data reviews and incorporate process improvements post-flight.
- Earn certification as a launch controller and operate assigned systems on launch day.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a B.S. Degree in Engineering, Science, or Math.
- Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated technical expertise in cryogenic, propellant handling, or engine systems.
- Strong operations planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to support occasional off shift work schedules.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing.
- Effective technical communication capabilities.
- Experience leading test teams as a Test Conductor or engineering lead.
