Responsibilities
- Work with an interdisciplinary team on fabrication and performance improvements of solid oxide fuel cell and electrolysis cell stacks
- Perform Critical to Quality (CTQ) measurements of experimental cell and stack materials and components
- Assist in the design and building of new architectures of cells and stacks in the laboratory
- Optimize new process flows in the laboratory
- Collect, organize, analyze, and report mechanical and rheological data through Design of Experiments
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD degree program in Materials, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Must be graduating between May 2026 and August 2027
- 1-2 years of academic or industrial lab experience
- Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Ceramics or metallurgical processing experience
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, R, JMP, or other statistical data analysis tools
