Responsibilities

  • Work with an interdisciplinary team on fabrication and performance improvements of solid oxide fuel cell and electrolysis cell stacks
  • Perform Critical to Quality (CTQ) measurements of experimental cell and stack materials and components
  • Assist in the design and building of new architectures of cells and stacks in the laboratory
  • Optimize new process flows in the laboratory
  • Collect, organize, analyze, and report mechanical and rheological data through Design of Experiments

Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD degree program in Materials, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Must be graduating between May 2026 and August 2027
  • 1-2 years of academic or industrial lab experience
  • Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ceramics or metallurgical processing experience
  • Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, R, JMP, or other statistical data analysis tools
