Responsibilities
- Work closely with Product teams to architect and refine new product concepts.
- Develop rapid prototypes using techniques such as 3D printing and machining.
- Architect and design thermal management solutions for high power electronics.
- Design high volume aluminum sheet metal and plastic parts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and validate new products.
- Partner with contract manufacturers to ensure successful production builds.
- Communicate designs effectively using CAD and presentations.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of direct or equivalent work experience in Product Design.
- Proven mechanical design experience.
- Experience with systems requiring critical thermal and power architectures.
- Exposure to Computational Fluid Dynamics for thermal simulations.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks.
- Experience designing parts with high cosmetic requirements.
- Basic understanding of volume manufacturing processes and DFM.
