Responsibilities
- Own manufacturing and quality aspects of new product development from pilot to full-scale production.
- Act as a technical liaison between R&D, Product, Supply Chain, and co-packers.
- Implement process improvements in cost, yield, throughput, and quality.
- Lead changes related to co-packer facilities, including formula and equipment changes.
- Facilitate continuous improvement projects with co-packers to enhance capacity and yield.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality guidelines.
- Generate and present production KPIs and metrics.
Job Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience as a Process Engineer in the food or beverage industry.
- Strong communication skills for facilitating discussions at all organizational levels.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in process design, optimization, and project management.
- Strong background in process improvement using statistical tools.
- Experience with regulatory bodies such as FDA and CFIA.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Food Engineering or equivalent experience.
