Responsibilities
- Analyze design options and conduct tradeoff studies to define electrical system needs and project scope.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop reliable and high-quality products.
- Engage in all phases of the electrical engineering process, from specifications to product launch.
- Design circuits and PCB layouts for various applications including power, RF, and networking.
- Generate electrical schematics, layout exports, and BOMs for PCBAs.
- Conduct electrical failure investigations using root cause analysis techniques.
- Communicate project status and challenges effectively with Project Managers.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 5+ years of experience in product development.
- Strong knowledge of circuit design best practices, including multi-layer PCBs and RF systems.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer).
- Experience with integration of electrical and mechanical components.
- Familiarity with signal acquisition tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Hands-on experience in PCB debugging and validation processes.
- Knowledge in firmware development (C/C++) and PLC programming is a plus.
